By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Uptown ·
Uptown's small business community is getting a valuable opportunity to protect their creative assets through an upcoming workshop titled "IP for Your Small Business Name, Logo, Slogan, & More" on Wednesday, December 10th at the Uptown Branch of the Chicago Public Library. The free one-hour seminar, organized by the Uptown Chamber of Commerce and led by member Sahil Malhotra, will run from 1:00-2:00PM at 929 W Buena Ave.
The workshop promises to demystify intellectual property concepts for entrepreneurs, artists, startup founders, and creative professionals throughout the neighborhood. Participants will gain practical tools to protect their brands, avoid costly legal pitfalls, and learn how intellectual property can become one of their most valuable business assets. This event comes at a perfect time as many Uptown businesses are developing new products and services for the holiday season.
The workshop is part of the Uptown Business Center's ongoing commitment to supporting neighborhood entrepreneurs. The UBC, managed by Uptown United, provides a suite of free business services to both new and existing business owners within the community. Uptown entrepreneurs interested in attending can RSVP through the Uptown Chamber of Commerce website to secure their spot at this valuable educational opportunity.
