Sober & Fabulous: Uptown's Rooftop Is Getting a Queer-Led Social Club This Summer

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Uptown ·

Uptown's nightlife scene is about to get a refreshing — and alcohol-free — upgrade. Everywhere Social Club, a queer-led sober social venue, is coming to the 12th-floor rooftop at 5050 N. Broadway, and it might just be the most exciting new gathering spot the neighborhood has seen in years.

The concept is as innovative as it sounds. By day, Everywhere will serve as a coffee house, community hub, and educational space. By night, it transforms into a full-on nightclub — complete with handcrafted mocktails and sweeping Chicago skyline views. Co-founder Zach Walz put it simply: "Everywhere is a place where people can connect instead of trying to drown out the world." The team is eyeing a late-July opening and has launched a Kickstarter campaign with a

00,000 goal to help finish the buildout — making it a true community effort from day one.

For a neighborhood already buzzing with new restaurants, theaters, and developments, Everywhere Social Club adds something truly distinct: an inclusive, substance-free space where the vibe, the views, and the people are the whole point. Whether you're sober-curious, LGBTQ+, or simply looking for a nightlife experience that centers connection over cocktails, this is one Uptown opening to watch closely this summer.
