West Ridge's Holiday Bazaar Is Almost Here — and the West Ridge Chamber Is Looking for Sponsors and Shoppers

By Socialhood News · West Rogers Park ·

West Rogers Park neighbors who've been watching the calendar know that the stretch between November and December is when the neighborhood's community calendar shifts into a different gear — and this year, one date is already anchoring the early holiday season: the West Ridge Holiday Bazaar 2026, set for Saturday, November 8.

The West Ridge Chamber of Commerce is organizing the Bazaar and is actively seeking business sponsors ahead of the event. According to the Chamber's events page, the Holiday Bazaar brings the community together each winter, and sponsorship slots are still open for local businesses looking to maximize visibility during the holiday season. For West Ridge's dense commercial corridor — anchored by Devon Avenue, one of the most internationally celebrated retail strips in the Midwest — an event like this one serves a dual purpose: it draws neighbors out to shop and celebrate, and it gives local businesses a concentrated moment of community foot traffic heading into December.

The Chamber hasn't yet published a public vendor or shopper map for the November 8 event, but the Holiday Bazaar has a track record as one of West Ridge's signature winter gatherings, a counterpart to the fall programming — the Tuk Tuks on Devon public art installations, the Fermentor Fridays events at Monarch Café, the September Restaurant Crawl — that the Chamber has anchored throughout 2026. The Bazaar lands the neighborhood squarely in the holiday season, giving residents a local alternative to the big-box weekend rush.

Also running right now through the West Ridge Chamber's calendar: the Clovers Caregiver & Child Class fall 2026 session at Families Together Cooperative Nursery School. The class, led by master teacher and professional musician Carey Farrell, is designed for children 18 months to 3 years old and their caregivers, and runs Friday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The fall session spans October through November, with remaining dates on November 6, 13, and 20. The curriculum weaves together music, art, sensory experiences, gross motor play, and informal parent education on child development — a format that speaks directly to West Ridge's identity as a neighborhood of multigenerational families and young households. The full fall session is priced at $150.

Taken together, these two items reflect something consistent about how the West Ridge Chamber operates: it treats the neighborhood calendar as a year-round project, layering practical family programming alongside seasonal community events. For a neighborhood as densely residential as West Rogers Park — with its long-established block clubs, its multigenerational immigrant families, and its active local business community along Devon and Clark — that kind of sustained programming calendar matters. It gives neighbors repeated reasons to show up, spend locally, and run into each other outside the routine of daily errands.

If your business is interested in sponsoring the West Ridge Holiday Bazaar on November 8, the West Ridge Chamber of Commerce is the place to start — head to westridgechamber.org for details on sponsorship packages. And if you have a toddler at home, the remaining Clovers Friday morning sessions in November are worth a look before the fall session wraps.
