West Rogers Park Prepares for Annual Taco Crawl Along Camino Clark Cultural District
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Rogers Park ·
West Rogers Park residents are gearing up for a fiesta of flavors as the popular Taco Crawl returns to Clark Street on Thursday, October 24, 2025. Organized by the Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA), this year's event will feature 22 local restaurants along two routes within the newly state-designated Mexican Cultural District, Camino Clark.
Participants can choose between the Cilantro and Maíz routes, each offering eleven signature tacos or dishes from restaurants lining Clark Street between Devon and Rogers Avenues. The event celebrates the neighborhood's vibrant Mexican culinary heritage while supporting local businesses that have recently experienced decreased foot traffic. Vegetarian options and dessert tacos will be available alongside traditional offerings of al pastor, chicken, steak, and fish tacos.
"This is more than just a food event - it's a celebration of our neighborhood's cultural diversity and small businesses," said a representative from RPBA. Tickets are currently $25 per route online and will increase to $35 on the day of the event. West Rogers Park residents and visitors can check in at 6950 N. Clark St. between 3-6 p.m., with restaurants serving until 7 p.m. Neighbors are encouraged to purchase tickets early as availability is limited for this community-favorite event.
