The CheckOut Hosts Special Concert Series for Graceland West Residents
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·
Graceland West's newest cultural venue, The CheckOut, is making waves in the neighborhood with a special concert series exclusively for local residents. The music venue, which recently opened in the transformed former 7-Eleven at 4116 N. Clark Street, extended a personal invitation to community members this week through the Graceland West Community Association.
Access Contemporary Music (ACM) Executive Director Seth Boustead issued the special invite for a performance at the new space, which features a concert hall with flexible seating for up to 60 audience members, teaching rooms, and a bar that playfully incorporates elements from the location's convenience store past. The venue has quickly established itself as a cultural hub, offering classical music concerts, cabarets, album listening parties, and music education opportunities.
Residents interested in experiencing live music at The CheckOut are encouraged to follow the Graceland West Community Association on Facebook and Instagram for updates on future special invitations and performances. The new venue represents a significant addition to the neighborhood's cultural landscape, transforming what was once a vacant storefront into a vibrant space connecting neighbors through the arts.
