West Rogers Park Welcomes Holiday Mercadito Market at GROW Entrepreneurial Center
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Rogers Park ·
West Rogers Park residents will have a festive opportunity to support local artisans and entrepreneurs at the upcoming Holiday Mercadito Market on November 22. The vibrant craft fair will be hosted at the Rogers Park Business Alliance's GROW/PROGRESANDO entrepreneurial training center at 7056 N. Clark Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This special holiday market is an initiative of the neighborhood's state-designated cultural district, Camino Clark, and will showcase diverse vendors offering handmade crafts and unique products. Shoppers can enjoy complimentary services including a free gift-wrapping station available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., courtesy of St. Jerome Church (limited to two gifts per person), and traditional Ponche (a warm fruit punch) donated by local business La Casa Vieja. Participating vendors will include A Versatile You, Aori Botanical, Coffee and Ink, El Shér, and F.L.Y.
The Holiday Mercadito comes just before the launch of the popular annual 'Live Love Shop Rogers Park' rebate program, which will run from November 1 through December 31. Community members can earn rebates of up to $75 by collecting receipts from independently-owned businesses within the neighborhood. West Rogers Park residents are encouraged to support local entrepreneurs by attending this festive event, which celebrates the area's rich cultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit.
