West Rogers Park Hosts 17th Annual Shop Jarvis Square Holiday Market as Community Revitalization Continues

West Rogers Park residents will soon have the opportunity to support local businesses and celebrate the holiday season at the 17th Annual Shop Jarvis Square Holiday Market. The popular community event, returning this December, encourages Chicagoans to "Live, Love, Shop Local" by investing directly in the small, independent businesses that define the neighborhood's character.

The market, which will be free and open to the public, highlights Jarvis Square's status as a vibrant, historic commercial district in the heart of Rogers Park. Known for its collection of independently-owned businesses, cafes, and restaurants, the square has become a hub for community events and a gateway to the diverse North Side neighborhood. This event comes as West Rogers Park continues to experience growing community engagement, with the recent Rogers Park/West Ridge historical exhibit at Northtown Library having been extended through December 31, 2025.

Residents looking to support local businesses can also participate in the popular annual "Live Love Shop Rogers Park" rebate program, running from November 1 through December 31, 2025. Shoppers who collect

50 in receipts from at least four different independently-owned businesses within Rogers Park boundaries will receive a $50 rebate, with $200 in receipts earning a $75 rebate. Last year's program saw 880 transactions across 202 local businesses, demonstrating West Rogers Park's strong commitment to supporting its vibrant small business community.
