Graceland West Launches 'Shaping Our Future' Community Survey to Guide 2026 Initiatives
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·
The Graceland West Community Association (GWCA) has unveiled a new community-wide survey initiative this week aimed at gathering resident input to help shape the neighborhood's priorities for 2026. The 'Shaping Graceland West's Future' survey asks residents to share what they value most about their neighborhood and identify key areas for improvement in the coming year.
As the community continues to evolve, GWCA leaders are seeking resident feedback to inform upcoming meetings, initiatives, and events. The survey is designed to gather thoughts on neighborhood strengths, identify key needs, and explore ways to increase participation and volunteerism. "Your voice makes a difference!" emphasizes the association's announcement. The initiative comes as the organization, which has been a cornerstone of neighborhood life since its establishment in 1979, prepares for its next phase of community leadership with Council Members serving staggered 18-month elected terms.
As an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the GWCA relies on resident participation to sustain neighborhood vibrancy. Residents interested in completing the survey or learning more about volunteering opportunities can contact [email protected] or visit the association's website at gracelandwest.org. Community members are encouraged to share their perspectives to help ensure Graceland West continues to thrive as one of Chicago's most beloved north side neighborhoods.
