Music lovers in Graceland West have a special opportunity this weekend as The CheckOut, the neighborhood's innovative music venue, hosts a 'Cosmos Concert' celebrating National Space Week. Seth Boustead, Executive Director of Access Contemporary Music (ACM), has extended a personal invitation to Graceland West residents for the Saturday evening performance featuring music inspired by the cosmos.

The CheckOut, which transformed the long-vacant 7-Eleven site at 4116 N. Clark St., has quickly become a cultural hub for the community since its opening. This new venue houses a music school, rehearsal spaces, and a performance hall, creating a vibrant destination for musicians and music lovers alike. The nonprofit ACM, dedicated to bringing contemporary classical music to wider audiences, has established its first dedicated performance and education space in this location, marking a significant addition to the neighborhood's cultural landscape.
