Indian Boundary Park Announces Inaugural Winter Arts Festival in West Rogers Park

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Rogers Park ·

West Rogers Park residents have an exciting new cultural event to look forward to this December as Indian Boundary Park Cultural Center prepares to launch its first-ever Winter Arts Festival. The historic landmark fieldhouse, which was designated a Chicago Historical Landmark in 2005, will showcase the community's artistic talents through a variety of visual and performing arts programming.

As a designated cultural center, Indian Boundary Park regularly offers a wide range of creative programming for both children and adults, including textile arts, piano, dance, and voice lessons. The upcoming festival will expand on these offerings with free, family-oriented performances and interactive activities designed to bring the community together during the holiday season. Located in the heart of West Ridge, the 13.22-acre community treasure features a beautifully restored nature area, duck-filled lagoon, and the popular Nature Play Center where children can explore and engage with the outdoors. The Tudor-style fieldhouse provides the perfect backdrop for this seasonal celebration.

Residents interested in participating in the Winter Arts Festival can look for registration information at the Chicago Park District website beginning in early December. This community event celebrates the diverse artistic talents that make West Rogers Park one of Chicago's most culturally vibrant neighborhoods.
