The CheckOut Music Venue Launches Winter Music Series in Graceland West

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·

Graceland West's newest cultural gem, The CheckOut at 4116 N. Clark Street, is launching a special winter music series for neighborhood residents starting December 2025. The innovative venue, which transformed the former 7-Eleven earlier this fall, features a welcoming 2,400 square foot space with optimized acoustics, a performance area with a Yamaha concert grand piano, and flexible seating for up to 60 audience members.

Founded by Seth Boustead, Executive Director of Access Contemporary Music (ACM), The CheckOut has quickly established itself as a community hub offering classical music concerts, cabarets, album listening parties, and film screenings. The multipurpose venue was designed to be "a place to bring music on an intimate scale" that serves both as a performance space and music education center. With its completely new interior space including four teaching rooms and performance hall, ACM is currently enrolling students for piano and voice lessons at this location for the winter season. Graceland West residents are invited to stop by during December to experience the venue's unique atmosphere, which playfully incorporates elements of its convenience store past while creating a sophisticated cultural destination right in the neighborhood.
