Warner Park Unveils Winter Wellness Series for Graceland West Residents

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·

Graceland West residents now have a new way to stay active during February with the launch of Warner Park's Winter Wellness Series. The beloved community green space at 1446 West Warner Avenue has introduced a calendar of weekly wellness activities designed to promote physical and mental health during the coldest month of the year.

The program, funded by the Graceland West Community Association (GWCA), includes guided meditation sessions, winter birdwatching walks focusing on winter wildlife, and community fitness classes suitable for all ages and abilities. "This initiative brings neighbors together while promoting health and appreciation for our unique park space," explained a Warner Park board member. The Winter Wellness Series represents the latest community-focused event from the GWCA, which has continuously served the neighborhood since 1979.

Residents interested in participating can find the complete schedule on the GWCA website or sign up in person at Warner Park. The community is also invited to attend the next GWCA general meeting on February 13th at Lakeview High School, where additional neighborhood initiatives for 2026 will be discussed.
