Graceland West Launches 'Community Voices' Survey to Shape 2026 Initiatives

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·

The Graceland West Community Association (GWCA) has launched an innovative 'Shaping Graceland West's Future' survey this week, inviting all neighborhood residents to help direct upcoming programs and initiatives for 2026. The digital questionnaire, accessible through the GWCA website, aims to gather fresh perspectives on community priorities and increase local engagement throughout the neighborhood bounded by Montrose, Irving Park, Clark, and Ashland.

'This is about ensuring our organization truly represents what matters most to our residents,' explained a GWCA representative. 'We're seeking input on everything from environmental initiatives to cultural events that could enhance our already vibrant community.' The survey addresses specific neighborhood interests including home improvement, gardening, local history, and environmental sustainability—all identified as top interests among Graceland West residents. Participating residents can suggest new event ideas, volunteer opportunities, and improvement projects that could be implemented in coming months.

Neighbors interested in participating can access the survey at gracelandwest.org through February 20th or attend the next community meeting scheduled for February 15th at Lake View High School where paper copies will be available. Residents are also encouraged to follow the GWCA on Instagram (@graceland_west_gwca) for updates on upcoming initiatives and opportunities to get involved.
