Graceland West Hosts Adults-Only Trivia Night to Fund New Children's Pollinator Garden at Warner Park

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·

The Graceland West Community Association (GWCA) is preparing to host its Adults-Only Trivia Night Party on Saturday, February 22, from 7-9 pm on the 4200 North Block of Greenview Avenue. This $50 per-person event requires pre-registration and is more than just a fun social gathering—it's a fundraiser for an exciting new community project.

Proceeds from the evening will support the creation of a new children's pollinator garden at Warner Park & Gardens, an initiative designed to engage young environmental stewards in the neighborhood. The project is part of the GWCA's broader environmental efforts, which include working with elected officials and local groups on stormwater management solutions for Graceland West. Warner Garden Park is a unique community space that was developed from a once-vacant lot into a private park by Lois Buenger. Today, it's managed by the Warner Park and Gardens Board of Directors and funded almost entirely by the GWCA, serving as a beloved spot where residents enjoy sitting on benches and walking the paths.

The Graceland West Community Association, established in 1979, continues its tradition of enhancing neighborhood resources through volunteerism and member involvement. Residents interested in attending the Trivia Night fundraiser or learning more about the Children's Pollinator Garden project can contact the GWCA at [email protected] or visit their website for registration details.
