Graceland West's GWCA Kicks Off 2026 Membership Drive — And Summer's Biggest Block Party Is Already on the Horizon

With spring still weeks away, the Graceland West Community Association is already building momentum for what promises to be a landmark year — and they want every neighbor along for the ride. The GWCA, which has served the neighborhood continuously since 1979, is actively calling on residents, renters, and local businesses to join or renew their membership for 2026, fueling the all-volunteer organization that powers everything from park programming to community advocacy.

5 per family — a modest investment that funds the neighborhood's website, newsletter, and the full calendar of events that defines life in Graceland West. Members earn the right to vote at community meetings on issues affecting the neighborhood and can go further by representing their block, joining a committee, or even running for one of nine elected Council seats. As the GWCA's website puts it, "your effort and nominal membership dues are essential to the life and vibrancy of your neighborhood organization."
