Your Voice Matters: Graceland West Wants to Hear From You in Its 'Shaping Our Future' Survey

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Graceland West ·

Graceland West neighbors, here's your chance to help write the next chapter of the community you love. The Graceland West Community Association (GWCA) has launched an active neighborhood survey — dubbed 'Shaping Graceland West's Future' — inviting all residents to weigh in on what they love about the neighborhood, what needs attention, and how to boost participation and volunteerism in the years ahead.

The survey is open to everyone within the neighborhood's boundaries of Ashland, Montrose, Clark, and Irving Park Road. As the GWCA put it, the initiative is designed to 'gather your thoughts on what you love about our neighborhood, identify key needs, and explore ways to increase participation.' It's a rare, direct line between everyday neighbors and the nine-member elected Council that guides the association's decisions — and the results will directly shape upcoming GWCA meetings, initiatives, and events throughout 2026 and beyond.

The timing couldn't be better. With GWCAFest, the Garden Walk, and the April 26th Bike Parade all on the horizon, this is the perfect moment to make your priorities heard. The survey is quick, free, and open to all — members and non-members alike. Head to gracelandwest.org to complete it today, and consider joining the GWCA while you're there (just

0/individual,
5/family). As an all-volunteer 501(c)3, the association runs entirely on neighbor energy — and right now, they're asking for yours.
